I need your help in the movement to cure arthritis

Anna was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) last February. At the time of her diagnosis, Anna was unable to run, jump, play, and, for the most part of her day, walk. The symptoms came on suddenly and devasted our family. However, since the diagnosis, Anna began treatment and is now doing extremely well. She began participating in regular activities last summer - she resumed running, climbing, skipping, jumping. She is no longer in pain and is currenly only on one medication, as opposed to numerous medications which encompassed her entire day. We are thrilled to have Anna back to her old self and living pain-free. We hope that through continued research and funding, Anna will be able to go off of her medication entirely and remain pain and inflammation free for life.

I am taking on the challenge to make a difference in our community by participating in the Arthritis Walk as a part of Let's Move Together, the Arthritis Foundation's nationwide movement that encourages people to move to prevent or treat arthritis.

Today, one in five people suffer from the pain of arthritis. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) project that by the year 2030, 67 million people in the U.S., or 1 in 4 adults, will live with arthritis. You can join me in the movement against arthritis by helping me reach my goal. Let's Move Together to improve lives and reduce the pain of arthritis.
